Metal Mesh

What is the name of the mesh tape that they use when saving a drywall corner? Is it metal or fiberglass?

We try to DIY drywall on stairs and are not sure how to do the corners (where the ceiling and the wall was demo'd) so they are sharp and can stick them properly. I saw them use a tape on one of the home shows and I felt like metal, but maybe not. Anyone know? This is an inside corner I mean.

If you're referring to an outside corner, I found the best product is manufactured by "Beadex and is a piece of metal covered with paper. It is applied to the bottom corner on the corner of drywall mud, then put the metal / paper corner covered with beads and smoothing the mud under the paper. It will take two other layers of mud on the corner to hide the pearl. If you're referring to an inside corner, I would use plain paper record that comes in 250 'or 500' rolls. Many people tell you how easy it is to hang and drywall tape, but I'm here to tell you that this is not true! I was hanging drywall and recording since 1960, and for me is simple.
